Rachel and Kirsty are going to Rainspell Island to camp out with Rachel's parents during the Rainspell Island Music Festival. They are excited to meet The Angels again. The Angels are their favorite girl band. But the theft of the magic music clefs means the band can not sing. So Rachel and Kirsty must help the fairies get their clefs back so both the fairy festival and The Angels can sing as planned.
Young girls will love the drama, fairies, and friendships that the story talks about. The vocabulary fits the intended age group and young readers will enjoy being able to read the book themselves. Almost every page has a black and white drawing that helps illustrate the story. The intended age group begins at seven years old, but my five year old daughter still really enjoyed the book. Parents will love the theme of helping and working together that the author has emphasized in the story.
